iSkysoft Video Converter Getting Started

OverView

iSkysoft Video Converter can help you:

• Convert video/songs to other types of videos/songs for various devices
• Download and play YouTube videos.
• Play media files, including regular DVDs, videos and songs.

By clicking the Menu button > Preferences , you can find the settings of this program, and to find more FAQs , you can click the Feedback button .

Part 1: Convert 

The Convert section can help you convert videos/songs to other media format for various media players or devices .

Load Files
Click the Add files buttons to load songs or videos.

Tips:
• To arrange the file order on the file list, you can drag up or down the file.
• Move the mouse to a file name when the appears , right-click a file and select Rename or click the button, you can rename the output file.
• Right-click the file, you can check File Information of the selected files.

Edit Videos
After loading a video, enter the Video Edit window by clicking the Edit button,  you can crop, trim the video, adjust video effect, plug in subtitle or add watermark into the video,



Tips:
• The Reset button can undo all operations.
• You can select available subtitles/audio in the files by clicking the Audio Subtitle/Track/ button.

Customize Output Settings



After loading the file, on the right pane you will find Output Format list , you can select the output format. if you want to change the preset of the output file, including frame rate, output quality, bit rate, resolution, etc, you can click the Settings button to enter the settings window.

Tips:
• You can set output quality as Small Size ( low quality) , Standard, High Quality, by clicking the Settings button , then the program will automatic adjust the parameters for you.
• Once you selected the output format, it will apply to all imported files. 
• By checking Merge all videos into one file, you will get all imported files merge to one after conversion.
• If the imported file format and output format support GPU Accelerate Conversion or High Speed Conversion, the program will mark them.

You can click Output Format>Format>3D then choose one of profiles to converter the 2D files to 3D files.

Start Conversion
After you customize the output settings or edit the files, you can click on the Converter Button to start the conversion. And to stop the conversion, you can just click the Stop button .

After conversion, you can find the output file by clicking the Open Folder button. And to change the output folder, you can click the Browse button.

Part 2: Download

With the Download option, you can download the on-line videos from Youtube. 

There are two methods to download supported sites vidoe.

• From Internet Browser directly:
1. Go to the website and play the video you want, you will see a Download button  when point to the playing video. 
2. Click the Download button to download the video directly.

• With video URL:
Copy the URL of the online video from the browser, then click the Add URL button on the program to paste the URL on URL, the program will download the online video.

Tip:
• By clicking the Downloading button, you can open Downloading list.
• On the Finished tab, you can Right-click a file to play/clear/remove it, send it to the Convert section or open file location.

Part 3: Play

With the Play section, you can play media files such as DVDs, videos, songs.


By clicking the Open Files button(or the downward arrow next to it), you can to load songs or videos (or DVDs) for playback.

Point to the playing video, you can click the appeared Convert to button to add the playing file to the Convert section.

Tips:
• To access to commonly used tools, you can right-click on the playing window, you would see Play/Pause, Aspect Ratio, Full Screen, Subtitle, Audio Track, etc..
