iSkysoft iPhone Data Recovery for Mac is a powerful data recovery tool, which can help you scan and recover deleted data from your iOS device or recover lost data from iTunes backup files, including Photos, Contacts, SMS, Call history, Calendar, Notes, Voice Memo, Safari Bookmark, etc

Mac OSX 10.6 and above; iTunes 10.7 and above

Installation
Double-click the file .dmg to start installation on your Mac. Drag iSkysoft iPhone Data Recovery for Mac into the Desktop or Applications folder.

After proper installation, launch iSkysoft iPhone Data Recovery for Mac and follow steps below to get your valuable data back.

Step 1 Select your device model
Select the device model to scan the lost data. You can select iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1, iPod Touch 4, iPhone 4S, iPad 2, The New iPad, iPod Touch 5, iPhone 5, iPad with Retina display, iPad mini.


Step 2 Select Recovery Mode

There are two modes to recover your lost data: Recover from iOS Device and Recover from iTunes Backup File.



Recover from iTunes Backup File

Select Recover from iTunes Backup file to get into the interface of iTunes backup files list. It will display the iTunes backup files of the selected device. Double click the backup file you need or select it to click Start Scan to scan the backup file.



Kindly note that only the iTunes backup file of your selected device will be listed. If you need to scan iTunes backup files of other device, please click Reselect Device to return to select the right device and scan it again.

Recover from iOS Device.

Select Recover from iOS device, connect your device with your Mac to scan the data.

For iPhone 4/iPhone 3GS/iPad 1/iPod Touch 4 to enter device system to scan your device.



For iPhone 4S/ iPhone 5, iPad 2, the New iPad, iPod Touch 5, iPad with Retina display, iPad mini to analyze your device to scan your device.







Tips: Reselect Device will help user to return the main interface and reselect the device. Reselect Recovery Mode is used to reselect Recovery mode.

Step 3 Preview and Filter the scanned files

During the scanning, the files can be previewed. Select files category in the left side to preview the date. If it is greyed, it means that the data cannot be found. You can select Stop or Pause during the scanning.



For Recovery from iOS device, you can select Only display deleted Items to filter these deleted files.

Tips:
1. You can preview the existing and deleted files and you can also search the specific file with keyword in the spotlight search.
2. The files of Contacts, Messages, Call History, Calendar, Notes, Reminders, Safari Bookmark will be displayed as table. Sort scaned results by clicking table headers.



Step 4 Recover files

Select the files and click Recover, the files will be saved to the default destination and be openned by default. You can click iSkysoft iPhone Data Recovery > Preferences from the top menu to change the default setting.

Note: If you device is still in black screen after Recover form iOS device, please keep the device connected and click Restart Device to Normal and try again.
