Why no iTunes backup file can be found?

FAQ for the following product:

Please make sure that whether the device has been synced with iTunes before try to recover from the iTunes backup files. If yes, it may be caused that you didn't select the right device or the backup files didn't be saved in default path. Please follow the steps below:
1.Click Reselect Device or Restart the program to select the right device.
2.Please save the backup files to the following path again: Users/User name/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
Note: If users still can not find the destination folder, please do as the following link to show hidden files and folders.
