How to fix "Please insert a DVD disc" error

FAQ for the following product:

Before burning DVD, make sure you've inserted a blank, clean, undamaged and writable DVD disc. Note that DVD Creator doesn't support burning videos to a used RW disc. 

If the application persists to prompt you to insert a disc but you've already inserted one, try another disc or a disc of another brand. Alternatively,  take out the disc first, close the application and then insert the DVD disc, restart the application to try again.

If this doesn't work, reinstall the application and then update the driver for your DVD drive.

Do the following to update your driver:

1. If you're using a DVD driver built in the computer,  find the supplied CD for  your computer when you bought it and insert it to your DVD drive to reinstall and update the driver for your DVD drive.

2. If you're using an external DVD driver, see the DVD drive's manufacturer and go to their website to download and install the latest version of the DVD driver.
