How to split a video file with Video Studio Express

Here's how to split a video file with Video Studio Express:

1. Drag a video file from the Media Collection to Timeline. 
2. Move the Timeline Indicator to the position you want to cut the video.
3. Click the Split button to cut the video file to two segments.

Repeat from Step 2 to split a video into more segments. After splitting, you're able to drag the segment to a new position.

Tips:

• Use the Preview feature to help you find the scene you want, with the help of the Pause button.
• If you drag a video clip over another one, the existed video clip will be split to 2 parts.
