After installing the software on your computer, launch Data Recovery and follow the steps below to recover your lost data.
Note: Do not install our software on the same disk where you lost the data. It may make the data overwritten or corrupted easily.
Recover Data in Wizard Mode
If you are the first time to use the software, you will be guided to the Wizard Mode automatically. With this mode, you just need to answer two simple questions and we will do the rest to recover files. If you don't want to use this wizard, please click Stardard Mode to recover the data.
Step 1: Choose the file types you want to recover.
Step 2: Select the location where you lost the file.
Step 3: Click on Next continue. You can choose Enable Deep Scan or Enable Raw File Recovery to begin.
Step 4: Preview and recover your lost files
If you choose All files in the previous step, the scanning result would be displayed in file types, such as archive, audio, database, document, email, graphic, video, etc. You can recover them selectively after previewing. PDF, PPT, RAR, ZIP, Excel, and photos like PNG, JPG, JPEG, TIF, etc. can be previewed before recovery.
Additionally, you can check the previous path of those files by switching
File Type to
Path.
Note:
1. If the Status says good, the file can be recovered. If the Status says bad or poor, that is to say, the file couldn't be recovered.
2. Do not save files to the disk where your lost files located. If you have not recovered the files you are looking for, they may be overwritten by your new file saving.
Scan filtering
If you remember the file name, you can search the file by its name and path in the found files. It supports fuzzy search.
Click

Note: The found files are temporary in memory. If you click the
Back button, they will be lost. You could click the
Save Scan button to save the scanned result as a file, and you could import the file to recover next time.
Step 5: Recover the files
