If this happens to you, make sure you're using the latest version of our software by going to
Menu > Check for Updates. Also make sure your video files play well on your computer.
The problem is still there? Here's the solution.
1. If your video file is DRM-free, select another output format and have another trial. If it doesn't help, contact us and attach your video file for further tests. If the video file is larger than 20M, first upload them to
http://www.2shared.com/, and then send us the download page address.
2. If your video file is protected by DRM, you're suggested to download and install the newest version of Windows Media Player or iTunes to authorize your computer first.
Windows Media Player:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/windows-media-player
iTunes:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Then follow these steps to convert DRM video.
1) Quit all unnecessary software to ensure that your computer is not busy since converting DRM video requires lots of CPU resource.
2) Go to
Menu > Preferences > DRM tab and change the capture size option to
Half of original.
3) Also lower the options in the window that opens by clicking the
Settings option at the bottom right corner.
When you click the Convert button, the program will launch iTunes or Windows Media Player in a standalone window to record the video to DRM-free video file. Don’t exit the play window while converting, or the conversion will fail.
If the solution doesn't work, contact us with the entire log folder attached in the e-mail. You can find the log folder as followed:
For Windows 7 or Vista, right click the program icon on desktop and select
Properties. Then click
Open File Location and the installation folder will open. Locate the
Log folder and compress it as a zip or rar file before attaching to the email.
For XP, right-click the program icon and choose
Properties. In the open up window, click the
Find Target or
Open File Location option instead.
3. If you're converting a DVD, send us the DVD name, region code, publisher and Amazon link so we can have a test on the DVD before getting back to you.
