FAQ for the following product:
The black bar will appear if it matches the following conditions:
1. The original aspect ratio is different from the final aspect ratio.
2. The aspect ratio of the output file is not supported by your media player.
You can follow the instructions below to solve the problem.
1. If you want to keep the original aspect ratio, select an output format from Output Format, and then open the Settings dialog by clicking the Settings button. In the open up dialog, make sure the resolution is set to Smart Fit or it's the same with your added file.
Also go to the Video Edit window by clicking the Edit button and select Original Size in the Crop tab.
2. If you want to convert video to another aspect ratio, select an output format from Output Format, and then select your desired resolution in the Setting dialog. Then open the Video Edit window by clicking the Edit button and select Full Screen in the Crop tab.
Tips:
1. If the original file has a black bar, you have to crop the black bar by resizing the video in the Crop tab of Video Edit window.
2. If the original file is protected by DRM and you want to preserve its aspect ratio, go to Menu > Preferences > DRM and set capture size to Original Size. To convert the DRM-protected files to 16:9 (or 4:3) aspect ratio, first remove the DRM protection, and then import the DRM-free video to our program for cropping.
