GPU accelerating enables you to convert video TWO to FIVE times faster by using GPU hardware if you convert non-protected videos with H.264 encoding technology. Below is how to enable
GPU encoding to speed up your video conversion.
1. First of all, make sure your computer has a NVIDIA CUDA, AMD or Intel-enabled Graphics card.
2. Import a non-protected video to our application, and activate
Use GPU encoding under
Tools > Preferences > General menu.
3. Select an format you want from the
Profile list, and click the
Advanced (or
Settings) button to select the H.264 encoder under
Video Encoder.
4. Click the
Convert button to convert the imported video. GPU accelerating will be enabled automatically. You'll see the speed is faster than before.
Note: To make sure great performance of
Use GPU encoding, check the information below and install the newest driver for your graphics card. See how to check the graphics card on your computer below.
1. Open the
Start menu, choose
Run and enter "dxdiag".
2. Click the
OK button to launch the
DirectX Diagnostic Tool. In the Display tab, you're able to check what's your graphics card and its driver.
For NVIDIA CUDA Graphics Cards
If your GPU driver is not the latest, download the newest driver through the link below and install on your computer.
