Last Revised: 2017-08-28 17:25:07

FAQ for the following product:

The video conversion speed is decided by the added video file and the output settings. If you're converting DRM-protected files, the video conversion speed also depends on your computer's performance. Follow these tips to increase the video conversion speed:

1. When selecting your output format from the Output Format tab, click the Settings button and decrease values of the output options. Note that this will create video in lower quality.  (applied to general videos, DVD, DRM-protected videos)

2. Use High Speed Conversion if possible. This only works for regular videos. Learn more about High Speed Conversion:
For the high speed conversion, here are some tips for reference :
1) The exported format should be MOVM4VMp4MKV
2) The parameters of the exported format can't be changed.
3) The imported video can't be edited.
Tip: The files that are able to be converted with high speed conversion will display High Speed Conversion Supported.

3. If your computer's CPU has dual core or more, go to Menu > Preferences > Convert and choose 2 or more from the Core Number option. This way, if your computer has 3 cores, the program will convert video 3 time faster. (Applied to regular videos and DVD movies)

4. If your computer is equipped with NVIDIA video card, 2nd generation Intel display card or AMD video card, download and install the latest display card drivers from their official site. If so, your computer will provide you with an option to enable GPU encoding. This way, you're able to speed up video conversion 2-5 times with H.264 codec if you're converting DRM-free videos. (Applied to regular videos and DVD movies)

5. If you're converting DRM-protected videos, go to Menu > Preferences > DRM and change the Capture size to Half of original. (Applied to DRM-protected videos only)
