How to backup contacts in Windows Phone?

1. You will need a Microsoft account if you need to backup your contacts in Windows Phone. If you don’t have one please visit https://signup.live.com to sign up a Microsoft Account.

2. Go to People app on the Windows Phone, tap “…” at the bottom, then tap “settings”.


3. Tap “accounts” and tap “add an account”.


4. From the next screen select “Microsoft account”, login your email andsign in. The Windows Phone contacts will be backed up to your Microsoft account.
