How do you customize settings for the selected Excel format

Before converting PDF to Excel format, you can make settings to the conversion to suit your needs. To do so, open PDF Converter and on the top menu bar, choose PDF Converter > Preferences... In the open dialog, switch to the Excel tab.

Each page into a single Excel sheet: By default, each page of a PDF will be saved to a single Excel sheet. If the content and the layout of each page are greatly different from each other, this option ensures that each page will be converted with great quality.
- Retain value without formatting: Choose this option if the borders of the table is not complete, e.g. merged cells, or the layout is a bit complicated.
- Retain original formatting of forms: Choose this option If you want to preserve text, numbers and formatting in the original PDF document. It works well if the borders of the table is complete, or there is few merged cells.
Combine all pages into a single Excel sheet: All the pages of the PDF will be converted to one single worksheet. If each page of PDF has similar properties e.g. the same number of columns, this option will preserve the layout to the most extent.
- Only retain table content: If this option is selected, only tables will be converted, non-table content will be ignored.
