The conversion speed depends on the source file size, the output settings you choose, Windows operating system and the computer performance.
To convert most DRM files on Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7, our program needs to record the playback of the DRM files to remove the protection, and convert the recorded file to another format. The recording process takes real time due to the limitation of Windows Media Player on Vista/Windows 7.
It takes less time to convert DRM WMA/WMV on Windows XP, because our program doesn't have to go through the recording process.
