iSkyoft Audio Recorder for Mac Getting Started

iSkyoft Audio Recorder is a tool to help you record local and online music. It can also get music ID3 info by themselves.

General Setting
Click iSkysoft Audio Recorder >Preference on the top bar, you can choose export save directory. You can also set the filter time, splitting time, and choose the recorded audio format you like.

Tip: We suggest keep setting as default.

Record audios


Step 1: Begin the record
Start Audio Recorder  and click the Record button, the application be in a ready status. Play audios you want to record, Audio Recorder will find the audio streams and begin recording.

Tip: In order to make sure the Quality of recorded audio files, you are now allowed to change Volume when the record is in process. To change Volume, please close the Audio Recorder before the record.

Step 2: End recording
If you want to stop the recording, please click the button of Record again.

Acquire or edit audio ID3 info of audios

Step 1: Get the audio ID3 info of the audios.
Audio Recorder searchs the audio ID3 info, such as artist name, genre, album and music title. The music will be added to the Library when the music is recorded. If you register the program, the program will identify music tag information by itself.

Tip: If you do not record the music at the very beginning, the music tag info will fail to be acquired.

Step 2: Look for and get the Album Cover.
Audio Recorder can search on the internet for the the music album cover. On the cover flow, It will show the Album artwork.

Step 3: Edit the audio ID3 info of the music files Manually

You can choose Edit Music Tags to edit the music tag by right clicking the file in the library,

Manage the Library


Click the button of Library to go to Library Management.
