How to separate/merge the video and the audio?

Click the clip in the time line and there comes a yellow frame. Right-click it and choose Unlink from the menu and then the video and the audio are separated.

If you want to merge a video and an audio into a clip, hold on the Command key and click the video and audio, and right-click on either of them and choose Link. Then their relative position is fixed.
